What is Welcoming The Stranger (WTS)?

MANA’s Welcoming the Stranger (WTS) program, matches volunteers with immigrant individuals or families, to provide a warm welcome to the Greater Portland community.

Do you want to be a mentee?

  • Are you an immigrant living in Portland or surrounding towns?

  • Are you 18 years or older?

  • Do you want to practice English with a patient friend?

  • Are you excited to form cross-cultural friendships, and build connections?
